Ceramic Coating Care

This is a step by step process in order to take care of your new coating! Failing to do this exact process will void our coating warranty.

Steps

1. Wash the vehicle/boat with an approved by us PH neutral soap.

2. Start with a initial rinse and inspect the coatings hydrophobic properties. (if you notice the coating is not "beading" up then you need to call us immediately to unclog the coating, failing to do so may leave behind water spots that will not be covered in the warranty)

3. After washing with a proper wash mitt and a PH neutral soap ensure you rinse the vehicle/boat completely before heading into the next step. (Pro tip, avoid washing in direct sunlight if possible, to minimize the risk of water spotting.)

4. Hand dry/ blow dry the vehicle completely using a microfiber towel and compressed air immediately after the vehicle gets wet to minimize water spots and prolong the life of your new coating.

5. Proper decontamination washes are to be performed by our team and our team only. Failing to do these washes will lead to problems with the coatings life. A proper decontamination wash includes a clay bar, iron removal, and ceramic topper. For cars, trucks, and RV/trailers we recommend getting this service done once per quarter. For boats we recommend getting this service before and after each boating season as boats require much more attention in order for the coating to last as long as its rated for. Some boats we recommend getting this service after each time out on the water.

6. Important tips for cars, trucks, and RV/trailers.

      a. Keep vehicle away from sprinkler systems as the hard water will etch into the coating and will not be removable on our warranty.

      b. wash/rinse the vehicle as soon as possible after rain/snow storms. If you cannot find the time, call us and we will get you taken care of completely free of charge.

      c. Avoid all drive through car washes as they will mar and scratch the coating making is less effective. Self serve car washes are ok, just be sure to only use water and no soap.

      d. Enjoy a sweet looking ride!

7. Important tips for Boats.

    a. It is extremely important to rinse the boat off as soon as you leave the lake/ocean. Take it to a self-serve car wash or connect to a hose as soon as you can. Even a short drive with water on the boat will cause water spotting that is not covered under our warranty.

    b. Coatings on boats will degrade quicker than cars if not taken care of properly with proper decontamination washes. If you notice any change in the hydrophobics of the boat, it is your responsibility to notify us as soon as this happens.

    c. Enjoy an awesome looking boat!
